Josie Jones is a small-town girl from rural Indiana. The twenty-two-year-old enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. Her husband of three years, Zechariah, encourages her to stay active and healthy, but her seven-month-old son Ezra motivates her to write. She hopes to continue to model the use of creative outlets for her son. In her small family, the number of people is rivaled by the number of pets. Their three dogs Petunia, Rose, and Fern, as well as their cat Beatrice, keep her on her toes.
Currently, a student at Indiana University Southeast (IUS), Josie spends most of her days completing course assignments. It was at IUS that she was first introduced to writing poetry and its healing abilities. She cannot express her appreciation enough for the high-quality instructors her time at IUS has afforded her. She enjoys watching romantic comedies and drinking coffee when she is not in the classroom or wrangling their three rambunctious dogs.
