G.K. Jayaram

Dr. G.K. Jayaram is a playwright, literary writer, and educator living in New Jersey. Dr. Jayaram was the first Chairman of Infosys and the Founding Director of the award-winning Infosys Leadership Institute in Mysore, India. He received his Ph.D. from UCLA, where he studied behavioral science and social-technical systems design. His plays and monologues have won several awards and have been featured in numerous contests including the Monologue Festival at the Montclair College of Fine Arts, the LIFT EV’RY VOICE International Playwright & Spoken Word Festival, and more. He has also published several books and was shortlisted for the Sultan Padamsee Award in 2018 for his play The Choice. Dr. Jayaram is currently working on three full-length plays: The Rise and Fall of Everyman, God of Silliness Needs Disciples, and Living Will. Currently, he is the Founder and Managing Director of the Institute of Leadership and Institutional Development (ILID).
