Shyla Shehan

Shyla Shehan is an analytical Virgo who was raised in Iowa and has spent the majority of her life in the Midwest. She holds an MFA in Writing from the University of Nebraska where she received an American Academy of Poets Prize in 2020. Her recent writings have appeared in Boston Accent Lit, Prometheus Dreaming, The Showbear Family Circus, and other publications. She lives in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband, children, and four wily cats. She spends most days tending to a healthy household, working part-time as an engineer for a Healthcare IT company, and is delighted with her new role as Managing Editor for The Good Life Review.
