Adam Bender is a graduate of Auburn University who is an assistant editor for the Southern Humanities Review, an adjunct instructor at Chattahoochee Valley Community College, and the doting grandfather of a 20-month-old firebrand named Paislee Lynn. After serving 21 years as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army, he retired in Alabama, where he resides with his wife and 90-pound lapdog. The Auburn Circle has previously published his work, along with Cathexis Northwest Press.
