C.A. Knapp

Carragh Alicia Knapp is an artist and poet raised in the New Zealand countryside. After completing a BFA Hons at Elam School of Fine Arts, Knapp travelled the world for six years. A major portion of this time was spent with tea and clay in the sweltering heat of Southeast Asia.

Today, Knapp works as an experimental ceramicist. Following life traumas and ongoing struggles with anxiety, the poems of her artist diary have spawned a creative practice of their own.

Knapp balances introspective ceramic afternoons with brooding mornings among words.
