Diana Raab

Diana Raab, MFA, PhD, is a poet, memoirist, blogger, speaker, and award-winning author of nine books. Her poetry and non-fiction have been published and anthologized in over 1000 publications. She frequently speaks and teaches on writing for healing and transformation. Her latest poetry book is Lust, and her latest nonfiction book is Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Program for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life.

Raab blogs for Psychology Today, Thrive Global and Wisdom Daily. She’s editor of two anthologies: Writers and Their Notebooks and Writers on the Edge; two memoirs: Regina’s Closet and Healing with Words, and four poetry collections. Her latest creative endeavor is Conversation Cards for Meaningful Storytelling. which was inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic as a way to connect loved ones.

Raab has been journaling and writing poems since the age of ten when her mother gave her a journal to help her cope with the loss of her grandmother to suicide. Her journal was her confidant and best friend. Now more than five decades later, she still has a passion for journaling and sharing her passion with others through teaching. She also does needlepoint and loves hiking and doing beach walks. She’s the mother of three creative children and has five grandchildren.
