Hannah Beairsto hails from the Poconos in Northeast Pennsylvania, home of ski resorts, waterfalls, and family fun. None of that outdoorsy stuff really applies to Hannah, as she spends most of her day writing. She has no pets, spouses, or children to brag about. In her free time, Hannah writes (obviously), plays the guitar (poorly), binges over anime (excessively), and does what she can to be an artist, yet not starve. Most importantly, she would like everyone to bear in mind that her first name is a palindrome.
Hannah is a recent graduate from Messiah University with a B.A. in English and a concentration in writing. Her past publications include poems in Messiah literary magazine The Peregrine, a poem in the online journal of small literatures Rue Scribe, and an upcoming flash publication for Wingless Dreamer in their Cinematic Short Story anthology. She experiments writing in about every genre you can draft in, but her favorites include fiction and screenplay.
“Another Winter” is her first short story publication, for which she is ecstatic. Almost bouncing off the walls. If you listen closely, you might be able to hear her squealing with joy. When she calms down, she will continue working on that great American novel.
