Christopher “Kit” Storjohann is a writer, photographer, and meditation teacher. A founding member of the North Fork Writers Group, he has several stories featured in their anthologies Seven Voices: Volume One (2015) and Seven Voices: Volume Two (2018), both published by The New Atlantean Library. Kit’s work has also appeared in The Moving Force Journal, Toho Journal, Kosmos Journal, Prometheus Dreaming, The Mindfulness Bell, the online version of Here Comes Everybody, the anthology Beach Reads: Paradise (published by Third Street Writers, Inc. in 2019), and The Hummingbird Post which named him their Best Emerging Writer of 2019.
A believer in the power of empathy to unite people across the divides of demography, geography, and historical epoch, Kit frequently shifts his narrative voice to reflect our shared humanity through the prisms of diverse experiences. He is currently at work on a centuries-spanning novel set in the Holy Land encompassing the commonalities among those who do not share a creed, culture, or even a chronological era. Kit lives in Barre VT, with his wife, Sarah, where they recently relocated after several years on the east end of Long Island, New York.
